Conversations Squared has grown out of a restructuring of the 17-year-old HIPPO Communications which was relaunched at the end of 2017 as a Level 2 B-BBEE company. Conversations Squared is a full service public engagement agency that delivers your message to a range of audiences through effective story telling across traditional and digital media platforms. We have a unique skill set that effectively addresses numerous niches, including science, education, lifestyle and public engagement. THE TEAM

Lynne Smit's track record includes 28 years of experience as a reporter and sub-editor on various publications including the Financial Times (London), The Argus and The Star. She is inspired by contemporary and evolving news dissemination techniques, including social media.​

Morgan Morris worked for the University of Cape Town as head of the Publications & Information, Communication and Marketing Department. He is a founding partner in Conversations Squared. An accomplished phototographer and videographer as well as an excellent writer, Morgan is a specialist in telling stories using a variety of media.

Noni Sophe joined C2 is an intern but we soon realised how amazing she is, and her promotion through the ranks has been rapid. Her exceptional organising skills and experience in different broadcasting and print media houses enables her to give the best service to our clients.​

Greg Smit was previously an independent IT consultant, providing logistical and technical support for an international company. Greg is the glue of C2’s behind the scenes operations, heading up our administration and logistics. He holds to high ethical standards, and to a belief that the only way to do whatever you do, is the right way.

Mabini Mpuhlu Mabini is a Walter Sisulu University graduate and is currently undertaking his Masters research in Public Relations Management under the supervision of Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He has worked as a journalist at several publications and a PR specialist for different national NPOs.
